Sometimes I imaging a cowboy riding that dark horse in the core of The Milky Way, I call him Skyrider. The shack still stands after year of abuse from weather. The heat and humidity of the Summer. The dampness of Spring and Autumn, along with frigid cold in Winter. They are all common in Maryland and take their toll. Nobody escapes Father Time and Mother Earth. We don’t know when the windows were knocked out or when the Earth will reclaim it. But for now it is a ghostly vision with the Milky Way in the sky and the warning signs in the front.
