Description
A small patch Trees in the distance, the core of the Milky Way touching the horizon. Grasses, waterways, marshes, and more lead us there. It is not uncommon to see small patches of trees like this in Dorchester County, MD. Another all to common sight is the multitude of dying forests. Aptly known as ghosts forests, the focus of “The Haunting Ghost Forests of Maryland’s Eastern Shore” by Sarah Laskow” The rising salty waters of the Chesapeake are slowly killing these trees and a once lively industry. The trees in this photo appear to be living, but could they just be ghosts?
This is part of my nightscapes series.
